Serverchassi Supermicro CSE-LA26E1C4-R609LP

The Supermicro CSE-LA26E1C4-R609LP is a 1U rack-mount server case engineered for reliable installation in standard data center racks. It accommodates both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives and integrates a 650 W power supply to support a range of server motherboards and storage configurations. Its external dimensions—437 mm width, 647 mm depth and 89 mm height—make it compatible with typical 19-inch rack setups, while the black and grey finish provides a professional appearance suitable for server rooms and network closets.

Advantages

The chassis offers flexible drive compatibility for mixed 2.5" and 3.5" storage arrays and includes a built-in 650 W PSU to reduce the need for separate power modules. Compact 1U height conserves rack space, and the internal layout is designed to promote effective airflow for component cooling. The case construction balances weight and durability, with a total product weight of approximately 16.78 kg and a design that supports standard server component form factors.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted entry-level and mid-range servers
• Storage-dense systems combining 2.5" SSDs and 3.5" HDDs
• Small data centers, branch office servers and network appliances
• Environments requiring a compact 1U profile with integrated power

How to use

Install the Supermicro CSE-LA26E1C4-R609LP into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate mounting rails or rack ears, ensuring the case is secured at both front and rear points for stability. Mount compatible server motherboard and processor components according to the motherboard manufacturer’s instructions. Populate drive bays with 2.5" or 3.5" drives using the provided trays or mounting hardware, and connect power and data cables to the integrated 650 W PSU and the system board. Verify airflow direction and leave adequate rack clearance for front-to-rear ventilation.

Recommendations

For optimal thermal performance, maintain unobstructed front and rear airflow paths and position the unit with at least 50–100 mm of clearance behind the case in enclosed racks. Use drives and components that match the chassis’ supported form factors and ensure the power draw of installed components does not exceed the 650 W rating of the built-in power supply. Regularly inspect fans and air filters (if present) and schedule preventive maintenance to preserve cooling efficiency.
