Serverchassi Inter-Tech IPC 2U-2412 rack svart, silver

The Inter-Tech IPC 2U-2412 Rack Black, Silver is a 2U server chassis designed for rack installations where space efficiency and reliable component support are required. Constructed from metal with a silver and black finish, this rackmount case accommodates multiple drive configurations and standard server motherboards. Its external dimensions of 480 mm (width) x 680 mm (depth) x 89 mm (height) make it compatible with common 19-inch racks while the included 8 cm cooling fan helps maintain stable operating temperatures for installed hardware.

Advantages

The case offers a high-density drive layout with support for both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, enabling flexible storage configurations. Support for a wide range of motherboard form factors — from Mini-ITX to EATX and SSI EEB — allows deployment of compact to full-size server boards. Built from metal, the chassis provides structural rigidity and effective electromagnetic shielding. Front panel connectivity includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) Type-A ports for fast data access and peripheral connection.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business rack servers
• Storage arrays and NAS builds with multiple 2.5" or mixed 2.5"/3.5" drives
• Compute nodes requiring support for ATX, EATX or SSI EEB motherboards
• Environments where a low-profile 2U rackmount chassis is required

How to use

Install the case into a compatible 19-inch rack using appropriate rackmount brackets and fasteners. Fit the chosen motherboard according to the supported form factor standoffs, then mount drives into the available 2.5" and 3.5" bays with suitable screws or trays. Connect power supply and cabling (power supply not included) and route data and power cables to preserve airflow. Ensure the included 8 cm fan is oriented to provide effective ventilation for the components. Use the front USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for connecting external storage or management devices.

Recommendations

For optimal thermal performance, maintain unobstructed airflow in the rack and consider adding additional rack airflow solutions if populating many drives or high-power components. Use drives and power supplies rated for continuous operation in server environments, and follow standard ESD and installation practices when handling components.
