Serverchassi Inter-Tech 4U-4098-S rack svart

Classic 19" Rack with a lot of space for different drives
The Inter-Tech 4U-4098-S Rack Black is a 4U server rack case designed for organized internal layout and secure front access. It accommodates both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, includes removable HDD cages for easier installation, and provides slot card holders on the internal crossbeam. The front slot openings are lockable to prevent unauthorized access, and integrated air filters help keep airflow clean for reliable cooling.

Advantages

The case offers removable drive cages that simplify mounting and maintenance of internal drives. A crossbeam inside supports up to four 2.5" drives and includes slot card holders for secure expansion. Lockable front doors restrict physical access to drive bays, while built-in air filters reduce dust ingress and support consistent cooling. The steel construction and rack form factor provide durability and compatibility with standard 19" server racks.

Suitable for

• Small to medium server racks and network cabinets
• Storage-dense systems using 2.5" and 3.5" drives
• Applications requiring physical drive security and controlled airflow
• Systems based on ATX, Micro ATX or Mini-ITX motherboards

How to use

Remove the HDD cages as needed to create working space for installing drives or other internal components. Mount 2.5" or 3.5" drives in the provided cages or directly on the crossbeam for 2.5" drives, secure expansion cards in the slot holders, and route cables to the motherboard and power supply areas. Install recommended 80 mm fans at the rear to ensure proper airflow, replace and secure the front doors, and engage the locks to protect the bays.

Recommendations

For stable long-term operation, use matched-quality drives and maintain the air filters by cleaning them periodically. Ensure adequate rear fan ventilation and confirm that the chosen motherboard form factor fits the case mounting points before final assembly.
