Segelfartygsmodell Revell Viking Ship

The Revell Viking Ship model kit in 1:50 scale is a detailed representation of a Viking longship measuring 385 mm in length and 237 mm in height when assembled. The kit reproduces characteristic features of Viking seafaring craft: a two-piece wood-grained hull, a structured sail, mast and yardarm with thread for rigging, a typical dragon head prow and a two-piece display stand. It is intended for model builders and for display or educational use, providing an accurate small-scale example of a seaworthy vessel used by Norse sailors for raids and long voyages.

Advantages

This model kit includes many individually moulded parts that recreate the look of an authentic Viking longship: large deck sections with engraved details, 64 separate shields, 32 oars, an anchor and finely modelled rigging components. The two-piece hull with wood-grain finish and the structured sail contribute to a realistic appearance, while the comprehensive decal sheet provides markings for all shields and the sail. The kit’s 1:50 scale and included stand make it suitable for display.

How to use

Assemble the kit following the supplied instructions and use appropriate modelling glue and tools. Start by building the hull and deck assemblies, then attach the mast, yardarm and rigging thread before fitting the sails and shields. Paint and weathering can be applied prior to final assembly or after sub-assemblies are completed to achieve the desired finish. Place the completed model on the two-piece stand for display.

Recommendations

Suitable for intermediate-level modellers; use standard model adhesives, hobby knives, fine files and paint suitable for plastic model kits. Keep small parts away from young children.
