SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC MULTIFIX SKARVSTYCKE 100 MM

When a cable trunking run must continue seamlessly around corners or across long walls, this Multifix Plus jointing piece from Schneider Electric eliminates the usual compromise between speed and a clean finish. Instead of cutting and butting two open ends together, the internal coupler slides into both 100 mm sections and locks them in perfect alignment without visible clips or adhesive. The result is a continuous channel that looks factory-assembled and keeps conductors fully protected at the joint.

Highlights

• Precision-moulded for 100 mm wide Multifix Plus trunking; no trimming or filing required.
• Internal fitment hides the joint completely, preserving a smooth white surface (RAL 9010).
• Self-extinguishing PVC meets BS EN 50085-2-1, so it will not propagate flame along the trunking run.
• IK07 impact rating means accidental knocks from ladders or tools will not crack the coupler.
• IP40 protection keeps fingers and small objects away from live conductors at the junction.

In daily use

Installers appreciate that one person can align two trunking lengths, press the jointing piece into place, and move on to the next section in seconds. Because the coupler sits entirely inside the channel, there is no raised lip to snag cables during pulling or to collect dust on the surface. The white PVC matches the trunking body exactly, so the joint disappears into the overall run. For maintenance, the piece can be removed by sliding it sideways after the trunking covers are lifted, allowing a section to be replaced without damaging adjacent lengths.

Final note

For electricians and panel builders who want a neat, code-compliant joint without extra fittings, this coupler is the straightforward choice. It turns a potential weak point into a reinforced connection that matches the trunking’s own durability.
