For best results on paper and light card, make steady, continuous cuts rather than rapid or forceful snips. After use, store the scissors in a safe place out of reach of very young children and keep the blades clean and dry to avoid corrosion.

Recommendations

Use these scissors under adult supervision for younger children. Avoid cutting hard or thick materials such as heavy cardboard, plastic or metal which could damage the blade or reduce safety. Periodically check the handle fittings and blade condition; replace the scissors if the blade becomes blunt or the safety features are compromised.
