Rörklammer Fischer BSMD 2 cm

The Fischer BSMD 2 cm pipe clamp is a metallic fastening solution designed to secure pipes with a 20 mm outside diameter. Supplied in packs of 50 pieces, this clamp offers a consistent, industrial-grade option for installations that require reliable mechanical support. Its metallic construction provides durability and resistance to deformation under typical load conditions, making it suitable for plumbing, heating and ventilation systems where a compact 2 cm clamp is required.

Advantages

The metallic design of the Fischer BSMD 2 cm pipe clamp gives stable mechanical support and long service life. Its uniform manufacturing and consistent dimensions enable straightforward installation and repeatable performance across multiple fittings. Supplied in a 50-piece pack, it reduces the need for frequent reordering on larger jobs and helps maintain inventory efficiency. The compact 20 mm opening fits a common pipe size and allows closer mounting positions where space is limited.

Suitable for

• Securing 20 mm (2 cm) metal or plastic pipes in domestic and commercial installations
• Plumbing, heating, and cooling conduit runs where space-saving clamps are required
• Mounting pipelines along walls, ceilings, and within service ducts
• Large projects and renovation works where multiple identical clamps are needed

Key specifications

• Clamp opening: 20 mm (2 cm) nominal
• Material: metallic construction for mechanical strength
• Pack quantity: 50 pieces per pack
• Design: single-piece clamp suitable for direct screw or bolt fixing
• Typical application temperature range: suitable for common indoor HVAC and plumbing environments

How to use

Position the Fischer BSMD 2 cm pipe clamp around the pipe so the pipe rests securely in the clamp saddle. Align the clamp at the desired mounting point on the wall or structural surface, mark the fixing hole, and drill the appropriate pilot hole if required by the substrate. Fasten the clamp using a suitable screw or bolt and anchor for the base material, ensuring the pipe is held firmly but not overly compressed. Repeat at recommended intervals along the run to maintain pipe alignment and support.

Recommendations

Select a fixing method and anchors compatible with the wall or ceiling material and the combined weight of pipe and contents. For corrosive or exterior environments, consider additional corrosion protection or an alternative material if metallic clamps are unsuitable. Space clamps at regular intervals according to pipe type and local installation standards to avoid sagging and to ensure long-term stability.
