RØDE skyddskåpa för RØDECaster Pro II

Transparent polycarbonate protective canopy designed specifically for the RØDE RØDECaster Pro II. This single-piece cover fits over the mixer/recorder to reduce exposure to dust and light splashes while preserving visibility and access to all controls. With external dimensions of 271 mm (height) × 316 mm (depth) × 41 mm (width) and a weight of 280 g, the canopy is lightweight and intended for both studio and mobile setups where unobtrusive protection is required.

Advantages

The canopy is made from clear polycarbonate that offers impact resistance and stable dimensional properties, providing a durable protective barrier without obscuring the device. Its single-piece design enables quick placement and removal, and the transparent finish maintains full visual control over displays, knobs, and faders. The low-profile shape minimises added bulk while covering the mixer surface and ports that are normally exposed to airborne dust and occasional splashes.

Suitable for

• Studio environments where the RØDECaster Pro II needs routine protection from dust and contaminants
• On-location and mobile recording setups that require a lightweight, removable cover
• Live streaming or podcasting stations to protect equipment between sessions
• Environments with occasional liquid exposure where splash protection is needed

How to use

Place the canopy over the RØDECaster Pro II so that it rests evenly on the surface around the mixer without forcing or bending the cover. Ensure all cables and microphone stands are routed so they do not obstruct the canopy seating. To access controls, lift the canopy straight up and set it aside; reinstall by aligning the edges and lowering it gently until it sits flush. Regularly remove the canopy for cleaning and to operate the device as needed.

Recommendations

Clean the canopy with a soft, lint-free cloth and mild soapy water; avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents that may damage the polycarbonate. Do not place heavy objects on top of the canopy and avoid exposing it to high heat or direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent warping. For best protection, use the canopy whenever the RØDECaster Pro II is idle or during transport in multi-device setups.
