Riktningsantenn Navilock 60543

The Navilock 60543 directional antenna is a compact, high-gain antenna engineered for the 1.575 GHz frequency band. With a specified gain of 30 dBi and a 50 Ω impedance, this antenna is built to improve reception and transmission for GPS and other direction-sensitive radio systems. The antenna is finished in black and connects via a male SMA connector, offering a small footprint with dimensions of approximately 44 mm × 36 mm × 14 mm and a lightweight 0.15 kg construction.

Advantages

The antenna provides a high gain of 30 dBi to extend signal range and improve signal-to-noise ratio in targeted directions. Its compact size and low weight allow easy mounting in constrained spaces and on mobile equipment. The male SMA connector ensures compatibility with common RF cables and adapters that use 50 Ω impedance. The directional design concentrates energy into a narrow beam, reducing interference from unwanted directions and increasing link reliability for line-of-sight applications.

Suitable for

• Improving GPS reception in fixed or mobile installations
• Point-to-point directional communication at 1.575 GHz frequencies
• Testing and development of GNSS receiver performance
• Outdoor and indoor setups where focused signal reception is required

Key specifications

• Frequency band: 1.575 GHz (optimized)
• Gain: 30 dBi
• Impedance: 50 Ω
• Connector type: male SMA
• Colour: black
• Dimensions: approx. 44 mm (W) × 36 mm (D) × 14 mm (H)
• Weight: approx. 0.15 kg

How to use

Mount the antenna to a stable support or housing so its directional face points toward the intended signal source. Connect the male SMA connector to a compatible 50 Ω cable or adapter, ensuring a secure threaded connection. For optimal performance, keep obstructions out of the antenna’s main beam and align the antenna precisely toward the transmitter or satellite. Verify cable and connector integrity before operation and avoid over-tightening the SMA connection to prevent damage.

Recommendations

Position the antenna in a location with a clear line of sight to the target signal when possible, and use appropriate mounting hardware to maintain stable alignment. If using extension cables, choose low-loss 50 Ω coaxial cable and keep cable runs as short as practical to reduce attenuation. Inspect the connector regularly for corrosion or wear when used in outdoor environments, and employ weatherproofing measures on external connections.
