PoE extender ALLNET ALL-PR2012P-E utomhus IP67 IEEE802.3AT

ALLNET ALL-PR2012P-E Outdoor IP67 IEEE802.3AT PoE extender enables extension of Power over Ethernet connections for outdoor network devices. Housed in an IP67-rated enclosure, this extender supports IEEE802.3at (PoE+) power delivery and is designed to bridge gaps between a PoE switch or injector and remote devices such as surveillance cameras or wireless access points. The unit removes the need for separate local power supplies at the installation point and is intended for outdoor and industrial environments where moisture and dust resistance are required.

Advantages

This PoE extender provides compliant IEEE802.3at power support, enclosed in a rugged IP67 housing suitable for outdoor exposure. It simplifies installations by allowing network and power to be carried over a single Ethernet cable for an extended distance, reducing installation costs and eliminating the need for additional electrical outlets at remote locations. The design prioritizes reliable operation in harsh conditions and straightforward integration with existing PoE switches and injectors.

Suitable for

• Outdoor surveillance cameras requiring PoE+ power
• Wireless access points mounted on poles or building exteriors
• Remote network devices in industrial or exposed locations
• Temporary installations where additional power infrastructure is impractical

Key specifications

• PoE standard supported: IEEE802.3at (PoE+)
• Outdoor protection rating: IP67 enclosure for dust and water resistance
• Application: PoE extension for remote devices (e.g., cameras, APs)
• Mounting: suitable for pole or wall mounting in outdoor environments
• Cable interface: standard Ethernet cabling for data and power transmission

How to use

Install the ALLNET PoE extender close to the location where the remote device will be mounted. Connect an Ethernet cable from a PoE switch or PoE injector to the input port of the extender, and run an Ethernet cable from the extender output to the powered device. Ensure all connectors and cable glands are properly tightened to maintain the IP67 seal. Verify that the PoE source provides IEEE802.3at power and that the powered device is compatible with PoE+ power levels. After physical installation, test network connectivity and power delivery to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

Use outdoor-rated CAT5e or better cabling and properly seal all cable entry points to preserve the IP67 protection. Keep cable runs within the recommended PoE extension limits and verify power budgets when chaining multiple extenders or powering high-draw devices. For long-term reliability, follow local regulations for outdoor mounting and grounding.
