Permanentmarker med rund spets Edding 404

The Edding 404 Permanent Marker with a bullet tip provides precise, consistent lines for labeling, drawing and general-purpose writing on a variety of surfaces. The marker is designed with a durable plastic barrel and a robust bullet nib that maintains shape during normal use. Its permanent ink is formulated to be water-resistant and lightfast, reducing the risk of smudging and fading and helping marks stay legible over time.

Advantages

The bullet tip delivers controlled strokes suitable for both fine writing and thicker lines depending on angle and pressure. The water-resistant, lightfast ink ensures durability of markings on paper, cardboard, plastic and many other common materials. The marker’s construction emphasizes ease of handling and longevity, making it practical for repeated use in office, workshop or home environments.

Suitable for

• Labeling boxes, folders and storage containers
• Marking plastic, metal and glass surfaces
• Sketching and drawing with consistent line width
• Everyday writing tasks where permanent ink is required

Key specifications

• Tip type: bullet (rounded tip) for controlled lines
• Ink color: black
• Ink properties: permanent, water-resistant, lightfast
• Body material: durable plastic barrel
• Typical line width: medium, varies with angle and pressure

How to use

Remove the cap and begin writing or drawing using steady pressure to achieve the desired line width; holding the marker at a lower angle produces broader strokes while a more upright position yields finer lines. Replace the cap after use to prevent drying. Test the marker on a small, inconspicuous area if surface sensitivity is a concern. For non-porous surfaces, allow ink to dry fully to minimize smearing.

Recommendations

Store horizontally or tip-down for best ink flow. Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight to preserve ink quality. Use on compatible surfaces and avoid prolonged contact with delicate fabrics or materials that may be damaged by permanent ink.
