PCI Express x4-kort DeLOCK 89051

The PCI Express x4 Card DeLOCK 89051 adds four internal SATA 6 Gb/s ports to a PC, enabling connection of SSDs, hard drives, optical drives and other SATA devices. It supports RAID modes 0, 1 and 10, as well as JBOD, and includes a HyperDuo function that combines an SSD and an HDD to deliver both increased speed and large capacity. The card uses a PCIe host interface and is available in a low-profile form factor for compact systems.

Advantages

The card provides four internal SATA 6 Gb/s interfaces for increased storage connectivity and supports hardware RAID levels 0, 1 and 10 plus JBOD for flexible volume management. HyperDuo enables automatic tiering of an SSD and HDD to balance performance and capacity. Its PCIe x4 interface and low-profile design ensure compatibility with a wide range of desktop and small factor systems while delivering up to 6 Gbit/s per port.

How to use

Insert the card into an available PCIe x4 (or larger) slot on the motherboard and secure it in the case. Connect internal SATA cables from the card’s ports to your drives, and attach power connectors to each drive from the system PSU. After powering on, configure RAID or HyperDuo settings in the card’s management utility or firmware interface according to your desired arrangement. Install necessary drivers if the operating system does not automatically recognize the controller.

Recommendations

For best results, use matching drives for RAID arrays (same capacity and similar performance) and ensure the system BIOS and drivers are updated. Use HyperDuo to pair a fast SSD with a high‑capacity HDD when you need both responsiveness and storage space. Regularly back up important data regardless of RAID configuration.
