Patchpanel Tecline 257310 1U Cat6 U/FTP svart

The Tecline 257310 1U Cat6 U/FTP patch panel is a rack-mountable networking panel designed for structured cabling installations using Cat6 U/FTP cables. Its 1U height and black finish allow it to integrate into standard 19-inch rack systems while keeping horizontal cable runs organized. The panel provides RJ45 ports terminated for Cat6 performance, intended to support gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed network protocols when paired with appropriate cabling and switches.

Advantages

This patch panel offers a compact 1U form factor that saves rack space and simplifies cable routing. The U/FTP shielding supports reduced electromagnetic interference and improved signal integrity in environments with adjacent cable bundles or electronic equipment. The black finish provides a neutral appearance that matches common rack equipment and helps conceal dust and fingerprints. Durable construction ensures stable terminations and reliable connectivity over repeated patching cycles.

How to use

Install the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack at the desired 1U position and secure it with appropriate rack screws. Terminate each incoming U/FTP Cat6 cable to the corresponding RJ45 jack according to the T568A or T568B wiring standard, maintaining pair integrity and proper shielding termination. Route patch cords from network switches or active equipment to the panel ports for organized connectivity. Verify each link with a cable tester to confirm continuity and Cat6 performance.

Recommendations

When terminating U/FTP cables, ensure the foil shields are properly grounded at the patch panel or rack to maintain shielding effectiveness. Keep cable bend radius within manufacturer limits and avoid running power cables parallel to data runs to reduce interference. Use labeled port identifiers and cable management accessories to simplify maintenance and future changes.
