Patchpanel DELOCK 6‑port för SC simplex eller LC duplex, grå metall, DIN-skenemontering

DELOCK 6‑port fiber optic patch panel in grey metal designed for DIN‑rail mounting provides a compact, durable solution for organizing and protecting fiber terminations. The unit accepts either SC simplex or LC duplex adapters in six positions, enabling flexible connector configurations in industrial cabinets, telecom racks, and structured cabling installations. Its metal housing offers mechanical protection and electromagnetic stability while saving space with standardized DIN‑rail attachment.

Advantages

The metal construction ensures robust protection for fiber adapters and patch cords, reducing the risk of accidental damage. Support for SC simplex and LC duplex connectors in the same panel provides configuration flexibility and simplifies inventory needs. DIN‑rail mounting facilitates fast installation in control cabinets or distribution frames and optimizes rack space. The compact footprint and organized adapter positions help maintain clean cable routing and reliable optical connections.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the patch panel onto a compatible DIN rail inside the cabinet or rack using the integrated clip or supplied mounting hardware. Install SC simplex or LC duplex adapters into the six provided positions according to the connector standard used on site. Route fiber patch cords to the panel, insert connector ferrules into the adapters, and secure any external cable management to prevent strain on fiber terminations. Label each adapter position as required for straightforward identification during operation and maintenance.

Recommendations

When installing, avoid sharp bends and tension on fibers; maintain recommended bend radii for the specific fiber cables used. Use dust caps on unused adapter positions to protect connector endfaces from contamination. For long‑term reliability, perform visual inspection and, if necessary, cleaning of connector endfaces before mating to ensure optimal optical performance.
