Patchpanel 1U Lanberg PPSA-1024-B

The Lanberg PPSA-1024-B is a 1U patch panel for structured cabling designed to terminate and organize 24 shielded Cat6a (F/UTP) twisted-pair cables in 19" rack cabinets. Constructed from ABS and metal, it provides a compact rack-mounted solution with a stiffened shelf and integrated cable management for stable assembly and tidy cable routing.

Advantages

The panel includes 24 shielded RJ-45 ports compliant with Category 6a, uses IDC/LSA-type connectors for quick and reliable terminations, and features a cable management panel and handles on a reinforced shelf to simplify installation and maintain cable organization. Its black finish and 1U form factor fit standard rack environments.

Suitable for

• Primary and secondary distribution points in LAN infrastructures
• Data centers and server rooms with 19" rack cabinets
• Office networks requiring Cat6a F/UTP connectivity and organized cable routing

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack using the included mounting points, then terminate incoming Cat6a F/UTP cables onto the IDC/LSA connectors following the color code for pair alignment. Route cables over the stiffened shelf and through the cable management panel to secure and separate individual runs. Plug patch cords into the front RJ-45 ports to connect network equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use Cat6a F/UTP cabling and maintain proper grounding of the rack and shielded cables; avoid sharp bends and ensure terminations follow T568A or T568B wiring consistently across the installation.
