Patchkabel helos Ultra slank 1 m SFTP Cat 6a

Shielded SFTP patch cable helos Ultra Slim, 1 m length, CAT 6a. This cable is designed for high-speed Ethernet connections and provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference through its SFTP shielding. The slim-profile jacket reduces bulk and improves cable routing in constrained spaces behind racks, switches and workstations while maintaining performance suitable for gigabit and 10 Gigabit networks where short, flexible links are required.

Advantages

The helos Ultra Slim SFTP CAT 6a patch cable combines a compact, low-profile design with full foil and braid shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. Its 1 m length minimises excess cable in dense installations and simplifies cable management in patch panels and switch cabinets. The slim outer jacket enhances flexibility for tight bends and improves airflow in equipment racks without sacrificing electrical performance for high-speed data transmission.

Suitable for

• Short connections between switches and patch panels in data racks
• Connections behind wall-mounted routers and switches in offices
• High-speed links for workstation-to-switch or server-to-top-of-rack setups
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT 6a performance suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances
• Shielding: SFTP (overall foil plus braid and individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 meter
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors (AWG typical for CAT 6a)
• Profile: ultra slim, low-profile jacket for tight routing and reduced bulk
• Connectors: RJ45 terminated on both ends, compatible with standard Ethernet ports

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug of the helos Ultra Slim SFTP CAT 6a patch cable to the network device port (switch, router, NIC or patch panel) and insert the other end into the corresponding port of the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and crushing points. For best performance, keep the cable length appropriate for the deployment (this 1 m cable is intended for short, direct connections) and maintain proper grounding of shielded equipment where applicable.

Recommendations

Use the cable in shielded or grounded network environments to take full advantage of the SFTP protection. Avoid tight kinks and do not exceed the recommended bend radius for CAT 6a cables; secure the cable with gentle cable ties or Velcro straps to prevent strain on connector ends.
