Ögla KWB 929810 10 mm, 20-pack

Metal eyelets KWB 929810, 10 mm diameter, pack of 20 are hardware fittings designed to reinforce holes in thin or flexible materials. These 10 mm eyelets create a clean, durable edge around apertures in fabric, leather, canvas, tarpaulins and paper-based materials, helping to prevent fraying and reducing wear where cords, ropes or fastenings pass through. Supplied in a convenient pack of 20, they are suitable for small repair jobs and craft applications that require a secure, professional-looking finish.

Advantages

These metal eyelets provide a solid reinforcement for pierced materials, extending the service life of repaired or finished items. The uniform diameter and consistent shape ensure reliable fitting with standard tools and allow repeated use under moderate stress. The metal construction offers resistance to deformation and improves the appearance of openings compared with untreated holes.

How to use

Mark the desired hole position, cut or punch a hole slightly smaller than the eyelet's inner diameter, insert the eyelet from the front side and fit the washer or backing on the reverse side if present. Use an appropriate hand press, hammer-setting tool or eyelet pliers to flare and secure the eyelet evenly; ensure the tool is aligned and the material is supported to prevent distortion. For thicker materials, verify that the chosen setting method fully compresses the eyelet without crushing surrounding material.

Recommendations

For best results use a punch sized for the 10 mm inner diameter and set the eyelets on a solid, level surface. When working with delicate fabrics or paper, place a protective board underneath to avoid unintended damage. Check compatibility of metal eyelets with outdoor or humid environments; consider additional sealing or using corrosion-resistant fittings where long-term exposure to moisture is expected.
