Nätverksbrygga TP-Link EAP211-BRIDGE KIT 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5

The TP-Link EAP211-BRIDGE KIT 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 is a dedicated network bridge designed to extend wired and wireless networks across medium to long distances. Operating on the 5 GHz band with Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac) technology, the kit provides a maximum data transfer rate of up to 867 Mbit/s. The devices include internal 2x2 antennas with 7 dBi gain and three Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) ports for connecting multiple wired devices. The white, compact housings are intended for outdoor or indoor deployment where reliable point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links are required.

Advantages

The EAP211-BRIDGE KIT delivers high-throughput wireless connectivity over distances up to 1000 m while maintaining compatibility with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards. Built-in Gigabit Ethernet ports allow simultaneous wired connections for multiple devices, and the integrated 2x2 antenna design with 7 dBi gain helps focus the signal for improved link stability. The kit’s support for the 5 GHz band reduces interference compared with crowded 2.4 GHz channels, making it suitable for environments that demand higher performance and lower latency.

How to use

Install the EAP211-BRIDGE KIT units at the desired endpoints, ensuring clear line of sight where possible to maximize range and link quality. Connect the Ethernet ports to switches, routers, IP cameras or other wired devices as required. Power the units according to the manufacturer’s instructions (PoE or adapter as specified in the product documentation). Use the TP-Link configuration interface or management software to establish the bridge mode, align antennas for optimal signal, and configure security settings such as WPA2 encryption and access controls.

Recommendations

Place bridge units with unobstructed sightlines and avoid placing them near large reflective surfaces or high-interference equipment. For stable long-distance links, perform precise alignment and verify RSSI values during setup. Use the 5 GHz band for environments where 2.4 GHz congestion is a problem, and ensure firmware is up to date for best performance and security.
