Nätaggregat HPE 866730-001 800W

The HPE 866730-001 is an 800W flexible slot, hot-plug power supply unit designed for enterprise servers. It provides AC input compatibility across 100–240 V and 50/60 Hz, delivers up to 94% efficiency with 80 PLUS Platinum level performance, and uses a low-halogen design. The module supports Power Discovery Services (blue plug) and is intended as a direct spare with the same part number for mixing and replacement scenarios.

Advantages

This 800W HPE power supply offers high energy efficiency (up to 94%) under typical server loads, a hot-plug design for serviceability without shutting down the server, and a low-halogen construction suitable for data center environments. It supports Power Discovery Services for system-level power management and is sized to fit flexible slot server bays.

Suitable for

• Enterprise rack and blade servers requiring 800W redundant power
• Data center environments where hot-plug replacement is needed
• Systems using Power Discovery Services (blue plug) for power management

How to use

Install the HPE 866730-001 into a compatible server's flexible slot bay following the server manufacturer's hot-swap and safety procedures. Ensure the server and power distribution meet the 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz input requirement. For replacement, use the identical spare part number (866730-001); mixing different power supply part numbers in the same server is not supported. Verify system recognition of Power Discovery Services if your platform uses the blue-plug power management feature.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install identical spare units (same MPN) for redundant configurations, follow the server vendor's servicing instructions when hot-swapping, and maintain proper cooling and airflow in the rack. Avoid mixing power supply models within the same system.
