How to use

Before installation, disconnect power to the host device and observe anti-static precautions. Insert the modular unit into the designated power bay of the OS6870 chassis until it seats securely and the retention mechanism engages. Connect the supplied power cable to an appropriate AC outlet that meets local electrical regulations. If the device supports redundant power, populate additional bays as required. Monitor the system indicators on the chassis to verify that the module is recognized and supplying power.

Recommendations

Install and operate the unit in an environment that meets the host equipment’s temperature and ventilation specifications. Use the supplied power cable or an equivalent that matches local safety standards. For redundancy, use two modules in separate power feeds. Replace modules with identical specifications to maintain balanced power and cooling performance.
