Nätadapter MEAN WELL GST90A12-P1M 90W

The MEAN WELL GST90A12-P1M is a 90W AC-DC industrial desktop adapter that delivers a regulated 12V DC output at 6.67A. It accepts a wide input voltage range of 90–264VAC via a 3‑pin IEC320‑C14 socket and includes PFC for improved line performance. The adapter is compact (60 × 145 × 32 mm), RoHS compliant and fitted with a P1M tuning fork plug (outer diameter 5.5 mm, inner diameter 2.5 mm) on a 1000 ±50 mm cable.

Advantages

This power adapter provides a stable 12V/6.67A output suitable for continuous operation and includes power factor correction (PFC) to reduce mains distortion. The wide input range allows global compatibility with 90–264VAC supplies. Its compact desktop form factor and standard IEC320‑C14 input make it easy to integrate into existing setups, and the attached P1M plug simplifies connection to devices requiring a 5.5 × 2.5 mm barrel connector.

Suitable for

• Desktop equipment requiring 12V DC power
• Networking devices, routers and switches with 12V input
• Industrial control modules and small automation devices
• Consumer electronics and peripherals that use a 5.5×2.5 mm barrel plug

How to use

Connect the adapter to mains power using a compatible mains cord into the IEC320‑C14 inlet. Plug the P1M barrel connector into the device’s 5.5 × 2.5 mm power socket, ensuring correct polarity. Verify that the device accepts a 12V DC input and that the current requirement does not exceed 6.67A. Place the adapter on a stable, ventilated surface and avoid covering it during operation to ensure proper heat dissipation.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in environments within the manufacturer’s recommended temperature and humidity ranges, avoid exposure to moisture or dust, and replace the unit if the cable or connector shows signs of damage. For installations requiring continuous or critical operation, consider a spare unit or UPS protection to prevent interruptions.
