Tips

To nail the classic Plexi tone, start with the Gain around noon, set Bass and Middle to taste, and push the Treble slightly for bite. Engage the Deep control when you need extra thump for palm-muted riffs or single-note runs on the lower strings. For a clean boost, lower the Gain and raise the Volume to drive your amp's front end. Experiment with the pedal's placement in your signal chain—before a delay or reverb yields classic results, while placing it after a wah can add vocal-like expressiveness.
