Microconnect Premium Optic HDMI-kabel 20 m

The Microconnect Premium Optic HDMI Cable 20m is an active HDMI 2.1 cable that combines fiber optic and copper cores to transmit high-definition audio and video across long distances up to 100 m without data loss. It supports resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 pixels and a data rate of 18 Gbit/s, with gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors and a flexible, lightweight design with an ultra-small bend radius for installation in tight spaces.

Advantages

This active optical HDMI cable maintains signal integrity over long runs by using both optical and copper conductors, reducing electromagnetic interference and minimizing attenuation. The gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors ensure reliable contact and optimal signal quality. Its lightweight construction and ultra-small bend radius make the cable easier to route in home theatre or professional AV installations.

Suitable for

• Long-distance HDMI connections up to 20 m (and designed for runs up to 100 m with active optic technology)
• Home theatre systems and televisions
• Professional AV installations, conference rooms and studio setups
• High-resolution displays and game consoles requiring HDMI 2.1 bandwidth

Key specifications

• Standard: HDMI 2.1
• Maximum resolution: 7680 x 4320 pixels
• Data rate: 18 Gbit/s
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (Standard) to HDMI Type A (Standard), gold-plated

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the source device (for example a Blu‑ray player, game console or PC) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the display or receiver. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secured. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends beyond its ultra-small bend radius and avoid placing excessive tension on the connectors. For long installations, keep the cable clear of strong electrical noise sources where possible.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the Microconnect Premium Optic HDMI Cable 20m with HDMI 2.1 compatible devices and confirm both source and display settings support the desired resolution and refresh rate. When installing in confined spaces, allow gentle curves rather than tight folds to preserve the cable’s optical cores.
