METZ CONNECT OpDAT patchkabel SC-Duplex/LC-Duplex OM5 2 m

The METZ CONNECT OpDAT Patch Cable is a high-performance fiber optic patch cord designed for reliable data transmission in modern network infrastructures. With SC duplex to LC duplex connectors and OM5 wideband multimode fiber, this cable supports high-bandwidth applications such as 40G and 100G Ethernet, making it ideal for data centers, LANs, SANs, and FTTx deployments.

Advantages

OM5 fiber provides superior bandwidth over traditional OM3/OM4, supporting multiple wavelengths for future-proof network upgrades. The duplex zip-cord construction with 2 mm individual cables ensures flexibility and easy handling. Low insertion loss (max 0.3 dB) and high return loss (min 30 dB) guarantee excellent signal integrity.

Suitable for

• Data centers requiring high-speed interconnects
• Local Area Networks (LAN) and Storage Area Networks (SAN)
• Fiber-to-the-x (FTTx) applications
• High-bandwidth backbone cabling
