Ljudmixer Omnitronic 10040285

The Omnitronic 10040285 audio mixer from the LMC series delivers a warm, natural sound with wide dynamic range and professional features suitable for studio recordings, live performances and fixed PA installations. It includes low-noise microphone preamps, one-knob compressors on mono channels, a 24-bit FX processor with 16 editable effects, feedback detection, voice canceller and a 3D stereo surround effect. The built-in USB audio interface supports up to 48 kHz sample rate for easy connection to Windows or Mac systems. Technical parameters include a frequency response of 20–20000 Hz, line signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dB, crosstalk of 89 dB at 1 kHz, microphone input impedance of 2600 Ω, line-in impedance of 10000 Ω, total harmonic distortion of 0.05%, LED display, AC 100–240 V, 50–60 Hz and 50 W power consumption.

Advantages

The mixer offers extremely low-noise microphone preamps with up to 130 dB dynamic range and an extended bandwidth for clean signal reproduction. Its British-style equalizers provide a warm, musical tonal shaping. Each mono channel has a simple, studio-grade compressor and the 24-bit effects engine provides 16 editable effects assignable to channels, busses or the main mix. Additional features include feedback detection, voice canceller, 3D stereo surround effect and a USB audio interface for direct recording.

How to use

Connect microphones and line sources to the appropriate inputs, set gain using the low-noise preamps and shape the signal with the channel British-style EQ. Engage the one-knob compressor on mono channels as needed to control dynamics. Assign and edit effects on the 24-bit FX processor and route them to individual channels, busses or the main mix. Use the feedback detection and voice canceller features during live shows to reduce feedback and isolate vocals. Connect the mixer to a computer via USB to record or stream at up to 48 kHz.

Recommendations

For best results, set input gains so that peaks do not clip the meters, use the compressor sparingly to preserve natural dynamics, and apply the built-in EQ for gentle tonal adjustments. When recording via USB, use a 48 kHz sample rate for optimal fidelity and monitor levels to avoid digital clipping.
