LC-kontakt Telegärtner J08071A0005 grön

The Telegärtner J08071A0005 Green LC wire connector is a compact optical-fibre adapter designed for reliable single-pair connections in fibre optic assemblies. Manufactured from ceramic and thermoplastic materials, the connector provides a stable interface for LC-format plugs while maintaining low insertion loss and mechanical durability. The halogen-free construction supports installations that require reduced hazardous emissions and improved environmental safety.

Advantages

This LC wire connector combines a ceramic alignment sleeve with a thermoplastic housing to ensure consistent optical alignment and long-term dimensional stability. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for space-constrained panels and enclosures. The halogen-free materials minimize the release of corrosive gases in the event of fire, meeting requirements for safer installation environments. The single-piece package allows immediate use and simple inventory control for small projects.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames where LC connections are required
• Indoor telecom and datacentre installations with space limitations
• Fiber optic repair, termination and prototyping tasks
• Environments requiring halogen-free components for safety compliance

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC (Lucent Connector) fibre optic adapter
• Materials: ceramic alignment sleeve, thermoplastic housing
• Halogen-free construction for reduced hazardous emissions
• Dimensions: width 22 mm, depth 25.8 mm, height 9.3 mm
• Pack quantity: 1 piece

How to use

Insert the LC plug into the connector until it clicks into the alignment sleeve, ensuring proper endface contact and minimal insertion loss. For assembly into panels or enclosures, position the connector in the designated cut-out or adapter plate opening and secure according to the panel manufacturer's instructions. Verify optical performance with a visual fault locator or power meter and follow standard fibre handling procedures to avoid contamination of endfaces.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces before mating and use protective caps when connectors are not in use. Store the connector in a dust-free environment and avoid excessive mechanical stress on the fibre cable to maintain optimal optical performance and service life.
