Låsringstång Knipex 48 21 J01

The Knipex 48 21 J01 Circlip Pliers are compact precision pliers for working with internal and external circlips. With an overall length of 130 mm and a weight of approximately 105 g, these pliers are manufactured from chromium-vanadium steel to provide durability for frequent use. The tool is designed with bump resistance and dielectric protection features to reduce the risk of damage and improve user safety in typical maintenance and assembly tasks.

Advantages

These circlip pliers combine a short tool length for access in confined spaces with a lightweight design that reduces hand fatigue during repetitive tasks. The chromium-vanadium steel construction delivers wear resistance and long service life under normal operating conditions. Bump resistance helps protect moving parts from impact, while dielectric protection lowers the risk of electrical contact when working near live components.

Key specifications

• Length: 130 mm
• Weight: 105 g (approx.)
• Material: chromium-vanadium steel
• Design features: bump resistance, dielectric protection
• Application: work with internal and external circlips

How to use

Select the appropriate tip orientation and engage the jaws on the circlip so that the tips seat securely in the circlip holes or notches. Apply even pressure to open or close the circlip while maintaining alignment with the groove. For internal circlips, expand evenly to remove or install; for external circlips, compress evenly. Use controlled motion to avoid sudden release of the circlip and keep hands clear of the ring path.

Recommendations

Inspect the pliers before use for any visible damage and ensure tips are clean and undamaged. Do not use the pliers on live electrical circuits despite dielectric protection; follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate insulated tools where full electrical insulation is required. Store the tool dry and apply light lubrication to the pivot joint periodically to maintain smooth operation.
