KYOCERA DK-3100 original 1 st

The KYOCERA DK-3100 is an original drum unit designed for Kyocera ECOSYS M3040dn, M3540dn and FS-2100D printers. It delivers consistent image transfer for sharp text and clear graphics across monochrome print jobs. Manufactured to Kyocera specifications, the DK-3100 is engineered for reliable operation, stable print quality and straightforward installation to minimise service interruptions in small office and home environments.

Advantages

The DK-3100 offers predictable yield and consistent print quality through its precisely matched drum chemistry and mechanical tolerances. Because it is an original Kyocera drum unit, it integrates with printer firmware for accurate wear detection and error reporting. Its robust construction reduces the risk of streaks, uneven density and premature failure, while the unit’s design supports quick replacement and routine maintenance.

Suitable for

• Daily monochrome document printing in small offices
• High-volume single-function printing environments
• Environments requiring uniform text quality for invoices, reports and contracts
• Replacement during scheduled maintenance to maintain print stability

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Kyocera ECOSYS M3040dn, M3540dn, FS-2100D printers
• Type: OEM drum unit for monochrome laser devices
• Function: Image transfer component ensuring toner adhesion and print density
• Physical form: Single replaceable drum module designed for easy handling
• Expected performance: Designed for stable yields and consistent page-to-page quality

How to use

Power off the printer or follow the manufacturer’s recommended pause procedure, open the front cover and remove the used drum unit according to the printer user manual. Unpack the replacement DK-3100, remove protective seals if present and insert the new drum unit into the correct slot until it seats securely. Close the cover, power the device on if necessary and allow any automatic calibration cycles to complete before printing. Dispose of the spent unit in accordance with local electronic waste regulations or Kyocera recycling programmes.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use the DK-3100 together with genuine Kyocera toner cartridges and perform periodic maintenance as described in the printer manual. Store spare drum units in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and dust, and avoid touching the drum surface to prevent fingerprints and contamination that can affect print quality.
