Krympslang CellPack 144414, transparent, 100 cm längd

CellPack 144414 transparent heat-shrink tubing is a clear, thin-walled sleeve designed to provide electrical insulation and mechanical protection for wiring, cable repairs and component coverage. The 100 cm length and 3.9 cm initial diameter allow coverage of larger cables or multiple conductors before shrinking. The material offers high flexibility, superior electrical properties and resistance to chemicals and UV, making it suitable for indoor and many outdoor applications where a transparent protective sleeve is required.

Advantages

The tubing is thin-walled and non-corrosive, providing a compact insulating layer without adding bulk. It is inscribable for marking and identification and stabilized against UV rays to reduce degradation from sunlight. The material is resistant to chemical agents and cold flow, with high tensile strength and good mechanical protection. Although self-extinguishing characteristics apply to colored variants, the transparent version retains excellent electrical insulation and flexibility.

How to use

Cut the CellPack 144414 tubing to the required length, slide it over the cable, joint or component to be protected, then apply uniform heat until the sleeve has shrunk tightly around the item. Use a heat gun or controlled heat source, keeping the heat moving to avoid overheating any single spot. Allow the tubing to cool before handling to ensure it has conformed and set around the surface.

Recommendations

For best results, select a tube diameter that provides sufficient overlap on the item before shrinking and maintain an even heating distance with a heat gun. Avoid open flame and excessive localized heat. The transparent tubing is suitable where visual inspection of the underlying connection or marking is required; if flame-retardant performance is needed, consider colored variants with self-extinguishing properties.
