Kombinationstång Knipex 03 05 160

The Knipex 03 05 160 Lineman's pliers are forged from special tool steel and oil-hardened for durability. At 160 mm length and approximately 222 g weight, they combine compact size with robust construction. The handles have a plastic coating for a secure grip and the design includes gripping zones for flat and round materials as well as long cutting edges suitable for thicker cables.

Advantages

These lineman's pliers feature cutting edges that work on both soft and hard wire; the cutting edges are induction hardened to an approximate hardness of 60 HRC for extended wear resistance. The forged, oil-hardened special tool steel construction provides high strength and longevity, while the long cutting edges and dedicated gripping zones make the tool versatile for a range of electrical and general tasks.

Suitable for

• Cutting soft and hard electrical wires and thicker cables
• Holding and bending flat and round conductors
• General electrical installation and maintenance work
• Everyday workshop and craft tasks requiring a compact, robust pliers

Recommendations

Use these pliers for electrical and general workshop tasks within their specified size and hardness limits; avoid cutting hardened steel beyond the tool’s-rated capacity. Keep the tool clean and lightly lubricated after use to preserve the oil-hardened steel, and inspect cutting edges regularly for wear.
