Kabelmärkning Legrand 038215, en delad märkning för trådmärkning

Legrand 038215 cable marker is a single-piece marker designed for wire identification in electrical installations. Supplied individually, this marker provides a simple and compact solution for labeling conductors, distinguishing circuits and indicating functions in residential, commercial and light industrial wiring systems. The physical design allows installation on individual cores or cables where a single identifier is sufficient.

Advantages

The single-piece format offers quick application without the need for assembly, reducing time spent on marking tasks. The marker is made to be durable under normal indoor electrical installation conditions and presents clear, legible marking space for easy reading during maintenance and troubleshooting. Its compact size minimizes space usage on cable runs and inside junction boxes.

How to use

Select the appropriate marker and slide it onto the conductor or position it at the cable end where identification is required. Ensure the marked surface remains visible after installation. For multiple conductors, apply one marker per conductor or per defined bundle according to your labeling scheme. Verify legibility of any handwritten or pre-printed notation before finalizing the installation.

Recommendations

Use the marker in environments consistent with standard indoor electrical installations; avoid direct exposure to outdoor weathering or aggressive chemical atmospheres. When precise long-term identification is required, combine the marker with a documented labeling scheme and store spare markers for future maintenance.
