Kabelkontakt RJ 45 Lapp 21700652

The Lapp 21700652 RJ45 wire connector is a single male Ethernet connector designed for reliable, compact network terminations. Finished in black stainless steel, this connector is intended for installations that require a robust housing material and a straightforward connection point for Ethernet cables. It ships individually and is compatible with standard RJ45 cabling systems where a durable male plug is required.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction provides enhanced mechanical strength and corrosion resistance compared with typical plastic housings, improving durability in demanding environments. The black finish offers a discreet appearance and helps reduce visible wear. The connector's standard RJ45 interface ensures compatibility with common network equipment and patch panels while maintaining straightforward installation and replacement when necessary.

How to use

Strip and prepare the Ethernet cable according to the cable and connector installation standards used in your environment. Insert the prepared cable conductors into the mating socket or termination point that accepts an RJ45 male plug. Ensure the connector is fully seated into the receiving jack to establish reliable electrical contact. For field terminations, follow any applicable crimping or assembly instructions for the mating components, and verify link continuity and signal integrity after installation.

Recommendations

Use the connector with appropriate strain relief and cable management to prevent mechanical stress on the termination. Verify compatibility with the intended network hardware and perform a continuity test after installation. Avoid exposing the stainless steel housing to aggressive chemicals or environments that may compromise surface treatment.
