Kabelkönsbyte ShiverPeaks BS77416

The ShiverPeaks BS77416 Cable Gender Changer converts a DVI-I connector to a VGA connector, allowing devices with DVI-I outputs to connect to VGA displays or projectors. The adapter features gold-plated contacts to improve signal transfer and reduce corrosion, and its black housing provides a low-profile, unobtrusive appearance when connected to desktop PCs, graphics cards or media players.

Advantages

This gender changer supports analog signal transmission from a DVI-I source to a VGA sink and uses gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and durability. Its compact, single-piece design requires no external power or drivers and preserves physical stability at the connector interface. The black finish blends with most AV equipment and reduces visual distraction in professional and home setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI-I output on a computer or graphics card to a VGA monitor or projector
• Using legacy VGA displays with devices that provide analog DVI-I signals
• Temporary installations, classrooms, conference rooms and presentations where VGA sinks are present

Key specifications

• Connector type: DVI-I (male/female interface configuration for gender change to VGA)
• Output interface: VGA analog compatibility
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved signal conduction and corrosion resistance
• Color: Black housing
• Power: Passive adapter – no external power required

How to use

Align the DVI-I side of the gender changer with the DVI-I output on your source device and insert firmly until seated. Connect the VGA cable from your display or projector to the VGA end of the adapter. Once connected, power on both devices. The adapter passes the analog VGA signal from the DVI-I source to the VGA display; ensure the source outputs an analog signal through DVI-I for proper image transmission.

Recommendations

Use this adapter when the video source supports analog DVI-I output. For optimal image quality, use good-quality VGA cables and avoid excessive cable lengths. Do not force connectors; if the image does not appear, verify that the source is configured to output an analog signal and check cable seating and device input selection.
