Kabelhölje DeLOCK 20788 grå

This braided sleeve by Delock provides electromagnetic shielding and neat bundling for exposed cables or electrical tubes. Made from copper braiding, it protects cables and devices from electromagnetic interference while offering high flexibility and good mechanical resistance. The sleeve is stretchable to accommodate multiple cables or wires of different diameters and resists weathering and mechanical damage. The DeLOCK 20788 model is grey, has a diameter of 1 cm and a length of 2000 mm, and is rated for an operating temperature range of -40 to 150 °C.

Advantages

The copper braiding offers effective EMC shielding and reduces electromagnetic interference. The material delivers high flexibility to prevent excessive cable bending and allows the sleeve to stretch to fit several cables or wires. The robust fabric construction provides protection against weathering and mechanical damage, and the specified temperature range makes it suitable for a wide range of environments.

Suitable for

• EMC shielding of network and measurement device cables
• Bundling and protecting wiring in machines and equipment
• Organising exposed cables in installations with variable cable diameters
• Applications requiring a compact sleeve: 1 cm diameter, 2000 mm length

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 20788
• EAN: 4043619207886
• Material: Copper
• Colour: Grey
• Diameter: 1 cm
• Length: 2000 mm
• Operating temperature: -40 to 150 °C

How to use

Slide the braided sleeve over the cable bundle or individual cable ends before final routing. For multiple cables, stretch the sleeve gently to accommodate varying diameters and arrange the wires inside so they lie flat. Trim the sleeve to the required length with appropriate cutting tools and secure the ends with cable ties, heat-shrink tubing, or crimp collars as needed to prevent fraying.

Recommendations

For optimal EMC performance, ensure good electrical contact between the copper braiding and chassis ground where required. Avoid sharp bends with radii smaller than the cable manufacturers' recommendations and inspect the sleeve periodically for wear in high-mechanical-stress environments.
