• DIY home projects involving varied nut and bolt sizes
• General workshop use for fastening and loosening hardware

Key specifications

• Material: durable steel
• Overall length: 205 mm
• Jaw width (maximum opening): 27 mm
• Weight: 255 g
• Finish: corrosion-resistant surface treatment

How to use

Select the adjustable spanner and open the jaw by turning the adjustment wheel until the jaw clears the fastener. Position the jaw so the movable jaw faces the direction of intended motion to reduce slippage. Fit the spanner snugly to the nut or bolt, then apply steady force to turn. For work in confined spaces, maintain a firm grip on the handle and use short, controlled strokes. After use, clean debris from the jaw and adjustment mechanism and store the tool in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use the Bahco 8071 C for correctly sized fasteners and avoid excessive force beyond the tool’s leverage capacity. Regularly inspect the jaw faces and adjustment threads; lubricate the moving parts if adjustment becomes stiff. Store in a tool rack or toolbox to prevent corrosion and maintain the spanner’s alignment and performance.
