Irix Edge UV-skyddsfilter SR 52 mm

Your lens is an investment, but it's constantly exposed to dust, moisture, and accidental impacts. The Irix Edge UV Protector SR 52mm acts as a transparent shield, absorbing ultraviolet light while guarding the front element from scratches, fingerprints, and environmental hazards. With its hardened optical glass and advanced multi-coatings, it preserves image clarity and colour fidelity without compromising sharpness.

Who is it for

Photographers who shoot outdoors in harsh conditions, travel photographers needing reliable protection, and anyone who wants to keep their lens in pristine condition. It's ideal for landscapes, cityscapes, and everyday walk-around use where UV haze can reduce contrast.

Main features

• Super Resistant (SR) hardened optical glass for enhanced impact and scratch resistance.
• 16-layer anti-reflective coating minimises flare and ghosting while maintaining over 99.5% light transmission.
• Hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings repel water, oil, and fingerprints for easy cleaning.
• Slim aluminium alloy frame (4.1 mm) prevents vignetting on wide-angle lenses.
• Blocks UV light to reduce haze and improve clarity in bright conditions.
• Front filter thread allows stacking of additional filters or lens caps.
