Insexnyckel Gedore 6341660

The Gedore 6341660 hex key is manufactured to DIN ISO 2936 from Gedore vanadium steel (61CrSiV5) and finished with corrosion-resistant plating: zinc-plated up to 12 mm and chrome-plated from 14 mm. Weighing 430 g, this hex key is made for precise engagement with hex fasteners and intended for repeated professional or DIY use.

Advantages

The vanadium steel construction (61CrSiV5) provides high strength and wear resistance while the zinc and chrome platings reduce corrosion. Conformance to DIN ISO 2936 ensures consistent dimensions and fit. The tool's weight and geometry offer reliable leverage and controlled torque transmission for tightening and loosening hex screws.

How to use

Select the hex key size that matches the hex socket of the fastener. Insert the short or long arm into the fastener head for the required access and leverage, and apply steady turning force to tighten or loosen. Avoid side loading and use the tool only on compatible hex fasteners manufactured to standard dimensions to prevent rounding.

Recommendations

Store the hex key dry and clean to preserve the plating. Inspect the tool for wear or rounded edges before use and replace if the tip is damaged. For maximum corrosion protection, use the chrome-plated sizes in environments with higher humidity or exposure to corrosive elements.
