InLine patchkabel SF/UTP Cat.5e transparent 15 m

The InLine Patch Cable SF/UTP Cat.5e transparent 15m is a 15-metre shielded twisted-pair network cable designed for connecting network components with RJ45 ports. It supports Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gbit/s) at up to 125 MHz and uses SF/UTP construction to reduce electromagnetic interference while maintaining compatibility with standard RJ-45 sockets, switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. The transparent jacket allows visual inspection of the cable in installations.

Advantages

SF/UTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity for Gigabit connections. The 15 m length is suitable for many rack-to-workstation and inter-device connections, and RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure broad compatibility. The transparent outer jacket permits easy routing checks and identification in bundled installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels
• Workstation to wall socket or network card connections
• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-TX) links up to 125 MHz
• Installations where reduced EMI is required

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router, patch panel or network card) and the other RJ-45 connector to the destination port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, excessive twisting or running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines. Verify link speed on device interfaces after connection to confirm Gigabit operation.

Recommendations

Use the cable in shielded or grounded network environments when possible to maximize the benefit of SF/UTP shielding. For long-term reliability, maintain bend radius and avoid mechanical strain; replace the cable if connector damage or degraded link performance is observed.
