InLine fiberoptikadapter Duplex LC/LC uttag MultiMode keramhylsa

The InLine Fiber Optical Adapter Duplex LC/LC Female MultiMode Ceramic Sleeve (MPN 89989L, EAN 4043718057801) is a duplex LC-to-LC coupler for multimode fiber links. It uses an internal ceramic sleeve to ensure precise alignment and durable connection between two LC female connectors. The adapter is designed for mounting in patch panels, distribution trays, wall boxes and other fibre management hardware and is finished in a neutral beige.

Advantages

The ceramic sleeve provides high repeatability and low insertion loss while resisting wear over repeated mating cycles. Duplex LC form factor supports duplex multimode links in a compact footprint. The adapter includes mounting flanges and screw holes for secure installation in patch panels and trays, enabling stable mechanical fixation and accurate connector alignment.

How to use

Align and insert the LC connector ferrules into each side of the adapter until they click into place, ensuring correct orientation for the duplex pair. Secure the adapter into the chosen patch panel or tray using the provided flanges and screws, making sure the adapter is firmly fixed to avoid mechanical stress on the fiber. Verify optical continuity and signal quality after installation using appropriate testing equipment.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep connector end-faces clean and use appropriate dust caps when the adapter is not in use. Avoid excessive force when mating connectors and follow standard multimode fiber handling procedures to minimise insertion loss and back-reflection.
