HPE 779093-001 datorfläkt kylsystem

The HPE 779093-001 fan module assembly is a hot-swap cooling component that includes the tubeaxial fan, fan housing, and an integrated cable assembly. Designed for HP Enterprise systems, this black computer fan supports efficient airflow to maintain system performance and reduce the risk of overheating. The module allows use of up to five fans in compatible enclosures to scale cooling as needed.

Advantages

This fan module offers a compact, serviceable design with hot-swap capability, simplifying maintenance and replacement without powering down the system. The integrated cable assembly and matched housing ensure correct connectivity and fit in supported HP Enterprise chassis. The tubeaxial fan design provides focused airflow for effective heat dissipation while maintaining relatively low noise levels during operation.

Suitable for

• Server chassis and rack-mount systems that accept HPE hot-swap fan modules
• Environments where redundant or scalable cooling is required (up to five fans)
• Maintenance and replacement scenarios requiring quick, tool-free swaps

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: HP Enterprise
• Part number (MPN): RP001232363 / HPE 779093-001
• EAN: 5711783734109
• Color: Black
• Includes: Tubeaxial fan, fan housing, integrated cable assembly
• Hot-swap capable: Yes (supports up to five fans in compatible configurations)

How to use

Power down procedures depend on the server model; however, the hot-swap design allows removal and installation of the fan module while the system is operational if the chassis and module support hot swapping. Align the module with the fan bay, insert until it seats securely, and ensure the integrated cable connector is engaged. Verify fan operation through system management tools or hardware diagnostics after installation.

Recommendations

Install and replace fan modules following HP Enterprise service documentation and safety guidelines. Use only compatible HPE fan modules for your chassis to ensure proper fit and airflow. Maintain regular cleaning of vents and fan intakes to preserve cooling performance and extend component life.
