Hobby-/kontorssax Herlitz 10801710

The Herlitz 10801710 stationery/craft scissors are compact cutting tools with sharp stainless steel blades engineered for precise, clean cuts across paper and common crafting materials. The scissors combine blade performance with ergonomic handles designed to support comfortable use by both left- and right-handed users, making them suitable for school, home and office tasks. The design emphasizes everyday durability and reliable cutting for a range of paper products and light craft materials.

Advantages

Stainless steel blades provide consistent sharpness and resistance to corrosion for longer service life. Symmetrical ergonomic handles reduce hand fatigue during repeated use and accommodate both left- and right-handed users without compromising control. The blade length and tip geometry are suited to precise trimming and detail work as well as general cutting. The overall construction balances lightweight handling with sufficient rigidity for routine office and craft operations.

Suitable for

• Cutting paper, card stock and envelopes
• General school and classroom crafts
• Light scrapbooking and decorative trimming
• Everyday office cutting tasks such as opening packaging and trimming documents

Key specifications

• Blade material: stainless steel for corrosion resistance and edge retention
• Handle design: ergonomic, ambidextrous shape suitable for left- and right-handed use
• Intended use: stationery and craft applications; suitable for paper and light materials
• Construction: compact, lightweight body for easy handling

How to use

Hold the scissors with the thumb and one or two fingers in the ergonomic handles, positioning the material between the blades. For straight cuts, guide the material rather than forcing the blades; for detailed or curved cuts, use the tip and make controlled, short cuts. Keep the blades aligned and avoid cutting materials that are excessively thick or contain metal to prevent blade damage. Clean and dry the blades after use if they come into contact with adhesives or moisture.

Recommendations

Store the scissors in a dry place and keep the cutting edges away from abrasive surfaces. For optimal performance, avoid cutting wire, hard plastics or thick cardboard; reserve the tool for paper-based and light craft materials. Periodically check blade alignment and clean blades with a soft cloth to maintain cutting quality.
