HellermannTyton polyesterflätad slang HEGP15-PET-BK-C4 (170-11500)

Organizing and protecting cable bundles in demanding environments requires a sleeve that resists abrasion, chemicals, and UV exposure while remaining flexible. The HellermannTyton HEGP15-PET-BK-C4 is a polyester braided sleeve that expands to fit over connectors and contracts around the bundle for a snug, secure fit. Its open-weave construction allows heat to dissipate and moisture to escape, reducing the risk of condensation and overheating.

Who is it for

This braided sleeve is intended for electrical installers, panel builders, and maintenance technicians who need to bundle and protect wires and cables in industrial machinery, control cabinets, automotive harnesses, or outdoor installations. It is suitable for use where cables are subject to frequent movement, vibration, or exposure to fuels, oils, and solvents.

Main features

• Made from polyester (PET) monofilament for high abrasion resistance and durability.
• Expands up to 100% from nominal diameter to ease installation over connectors and irregular shapes.
• Halogen-free and flame retardant to UL94 V2, reducing toxic smoke in case of fire.
• Good UV resistance for outdoor use without rapid degradation.
• Operating temperature range from -50 °C to +150 °C, suitable for extreme conditions.
• Supplied in a 25 m roll for convenient cutting to required lengths.
