The VALUE 14.99.3459 HDMI Gender Changer is a compact adapter designed to join two HDMI cables with HDMI connectors on both sides. Its black housing provides a discreet appearance for home entertainment setups, office displays, and professional AV installations. The adapter enables extension of existing HDMI runs or conversion of connector gender without replacing cables.

Advantages

This HDMI gender changer offers a straightforward and space-saving solution for extending HDMI connections. The all-HDMI connector design preserves signal continuity between cables and reduces the need to purchase longer single-piece cables. Its neutral black finish integrates with most A/V equipment and cable assemblies, while the compact form factor maintains a low profile behind screens or within cable routing channels.

Suitable for

• Extending an HDMI connection by joining two HDMI cables
• Converting HDMI connector gender when an extra cable is needed
• Connecting displays, projectors, or TVs where cable replacement is inconvenient
• Temporary AV setups, trade shows, or conference room installations

Key specifications

• Function: Gender changer / coupler for HDMI connections
• Colour: Black
• Form factor: Inline coupler, compact profile

How to use

To use the adapter, align the HDMI connector of the first cable with one side of the gender changer and insert until fully seated. Repeat with the second HDMI cable on the opposite side to create a continuous connection. Ensure both cable ends are pushed in straight and secure to avoid signal loss. The adapter does not require power or configuration and is ready to use immediately after physical connection.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, use the gender changer with high-quality HDMI cables and avoid creating excessively long combined cable runs that may exceed HDMI performance limits. Keep the adapter accessible for occasional reseating, and avoid placing heavy strain or sharp bends at the connection points.
