Connect one HDMI Type A end to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu‑ray player, gaming console or PC) and the other end to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off or on standby while connecting to avoid hot-plug issues, then power the devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. For Ethernet over HDMI features, enable the HDMI Ethernet Channel on compatible devices and network settings if required.

Recommendations

For best signal integrity, avoid tight cable bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Verify device compatibility with HDMI 2.0 features when using 4K 60Hz or advanced audio formats.
