Inline HDMI female coupler VivoLink PROKEYHDMIFM5W in white is a compact adapter that connects two HDMI cables with female ends to extend cable length or create a pass-through connection. Designed for straightforward in-line use, the adapter is suitable for home entertainment systems, office monitors, projectors and other AV equipment where an unobtrusive HDMI female-to-female connection is required. Its small form factor and neutral white finish allow easy integration behind displays or inside cabinets without occupying much space.

Advantages

The VivoLink inline HDMI female coupler provides a simple and reliable connection between two HDMI cables without additional hardware. Its compact inline design reduces strain on cable ends and helps maintain a tidy installation in confined spaces. The white housing blends with light-coloured devices and décor, while the female-to-female configuration enables extension or rerouting of existing HDMI runs without replacing cables.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI cable runs between TV and AV receiver

• Creating a pass-through connection in media cabinets or wall plates

How to use

Align each HDMI cable plug with the corresponding female port on the coupler and insert until secure. Ensure both cable ends are fully seated to maintain a reliable connection. Position the inline adapter in a location that avoids excessive bending or tension on the cables; secure nearby cables with clips or ties if necessary. After connection, verify video and audio signal transmission on connected devices and adjust cable routing if signal issues occur.

Recommendations

For best performance, use high-quality HDMI cables appropriate for your resolution and bandwidth requirements. Minimise the number of additional couplers or adapters in a single signal path to reduce potential signal degradation. Inspect connectors for dust or damage before connecting and avoid sharp bends at the cable ends.
