Durable contact technology:Gold-plated contacts provide a permanently secure connection and reduce contact resistance in professional use.
Robust aluminum housing:The compact metal housing ensures protection against mechanical influences and supports reliable use even in demanding installations.
Flexible signal routing:Ideal for connecting or extending two HDMI cables in media technology, digital signage, or industrial visualization systems.

The HDMI adapter connects two HDMI cables and serves as a flexible extension of existing signal paths. The 1:1 pin assignment enables direct, unadulterated transmission of digital audio and video signals. This makes the adapter suitable for installations that require stable, high-quality transmission paths.
The adapter supports resolutions up to UHD 8K and has been successfully tested in practical application tests with 3840x2160 at 120 Hz and 4:4:4 8bit. The gold-plated contacts ensure permanently low contact resistance and a reliable connection throughout the entire service life.
The compact aluminum housing protects the internal contacts and ensures high robustness. Thanks to its passive design, the adapter can be flexibly integrated into signal paths. The adapter is suitable for media technology, digital signage, presentation and visualization systems, and other professional A/V applications where a secure and low-loss HDMI connection is required.
The total link length is recommended to be up to 1.5 meters and can be a maximum of 2 meters. Thanks to its compact design, the adapter can be easily integrated into rack systems, wall installations, or mobile setups.

How to use

Plug an HDMI cable with an HDMI A plug into one side of the adapter and a second HDMI A cable into the opposite side to join the two cables. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable connection. The adapter does not convert signal types or provide active signal amplification; if longer cable runs or signal boosting are required, use an appropriate HDMI extender or active repeater.

Recommendations

Use this HDMI gender changer for short joins or to adapt cable runs where a simple mechanical connection is needed. For distances beyond typical cable limits or for 8K/advanced signal integrity over long runs, prefer active extenders, certified high-speed HDMI cables, or signal amplifiers.
