Advantages

Hardware AES-XTS 256-bit encryption and PIN authentication secure data without relying on host software. Wide certification coverage ensures compliance with recognised security standards. The software-free design provides plug-and-play compatibility across operating systems and devices. A dedicated secure microprocessor with physical protection and an automated deadlock state defends against tamper and bypass attacks. USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface delivers high transfer speeds for large file operations while maintaining portability in a compact black enclosure.

How to use

Connect the diskAshur PRO2 to any device with a USB port using the supplied cable. Power is supplied through the USB connection, so no external power or software installation is required. Use the onboard keypad to set and enter a unique 7–15 digit PIN; without the correct PIN the drive remains locked. After successful authentication the drive mounts as a standard external HDD and can be used for file transfer, backup or storage like any other USB mass storage device.

Recommendations

Set a unique PIN between 7 and 15 digits and store it separately from the drive. Regularly back up important encrypted data to an additional secure location. Keep firmware updated where applicable and follow organisational policies for handling certified encrypted media to maintain compliance.
