Handskyddsgrepp Gedore 8658500 — skyddsgrepp för handverktyg

Gedore 8658500 is a hand protection grip designed to be fitted on hand-held tools to improve hold comfort and provide basic protection for the user's hand. It functions as a replaceable grip or protective sleeve, helping to reduce slippage and minimise wear on the original handle during manual tasks. The grip is intended for workshop, maintenance and general repair environments where improved hand comfort and a more secure grip are required.

Advantages

The hand protection grip offers improved ergonomics by increasing contact area and reducing pressure points on the palm and fingers. Its surface texture enhances friction to reduce tool slippage during use. As a replaceable accessory, the grip protects the original tool handle from wear and extends the service life of the tool. The design allows quick fitting and replacement without specialised equipment.

How to use

Ensure the original tool handle is clean and free of oil, grease or debris before fitting the grip. Slide the protective grip onto the handle, aligning it to the preferred position for thumb and finger placement. If necessary, warm the grip slightly (for example with body heat or warm water) to increase flexibility and make fitting easier; avoid using open flames or excessive heat. After fitting, verify the grip is secure and does not shift during normal use.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the grip for signs of excessive wear, cuts or hardening. Replace the grip if it shows significant deterioration that affects comfort or slip resistance. For best results, keep the grip clean and dry; remove contaminants such as oil and solvent residues with a mild detergent and water, then allow to dry completely before use.
