Handsåg Bahco PC-15-GNP vikt 225 g

The Bahco PC-15-GNP weight 225 g is a lightweight hand saw designed for precision cutting in woodworking. With an ergonomic profile and reduced weight, it aims to provide control and comfort for short to medium cutting tasks. The blade is sharpened for clean cuts and the compact form supports maneuverability in tighter work areas.

Advantages

The saw combines low weight with an ergonomic handle shape to reduce fatigue during repetitive use. Its sharp blade geometry promotes accurate, clean cuts and helps maintain a straight cutting line. The compact size and balanced construction make the tool easy to position and guide for fine detail work.

Suitable for

• Fine woodworking and joinery tasks where precise control is required
• DIY projects around the home, such as trimming, small panel cutting and repairs
• Situations where a lightweight, easy-to-handle saw is preferred

When it may not be suitable

This lightweight hand saw is not intended for heavy demolition or cutting large timber sections; users requiring high material removal rates or long rip cuts should select a larger saw with a heavier blade and coarser tooth pattern. It may also be less efficient on very hard or knotty wood compared with more aggressive saw designs.

Key specifications

• Weight: 225 g
• Tool type: hand saw for woodworking
• Blade: sharpened for clean cuts (fine/precision tooth geometry)
• Handle: ergonomic design intended to improve comfort and control
• Use case: short to medium length precision cuts

How to use

Secure the workpiece and mark the cut line clearly. Hold the saw with a comfortable grip on the ergonomic handle and start the cut with a few light forward strokes to establish the kerf. Use steady, even strokes at a comfortable pace, allowing the blade to do the cutting without excessive force. For accurate results, maintain a consistent angle and follow the guide line, repositioning the workpiece if necessary to access tight areas.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended cutting tasks: choose this saw for precision and light-duty work rather than heavy demolition
• Material hardness: very hard or knotty wood may require a different tooth pattern
• Ergonomics and weight: consider whether the 225 g weight and handle shape suit prolonged use

Recommendations

Use the Bahco PC-15-GNP for controlled, short to medium precision cuts; keep the blade clean and lightly oiled to prevent corrosion, and inspect the tooth ground for wear to maintain cutting quality.
