Hammarhuvud Wiha 26425

The Wiha 26425 hammer face is made of medium-soft caoutchouc (rubber) designed to deliver controlled, low-impact strikes for precision tasks. With a wear-resistant surface and a diameter of 6 cm, this replacement hammer face weighs 192 g and is intended for use with compatible Wiha hand tools. It reduces the risk of surface damage while maintaining good control during tile laying, paving, curbstone setting, dry wall construction and light gardening or landscaping work.

Advantages

The medium-soft rubber composition provides a softer impact than metal faces, lowering the chance of marring or chipping sensitive materials. The wear-resistant material extends service life under normal use. The 6 cm diameter and 192 g mass are balanced for precision striking and good control when used with appropriate Wiha handles or tools.

How to use

Attach the Wiha 26425 hammer face to a compatible Wiha handle or tool according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Use steady, controlled strikes appropriate for the material being worked on. For tile laying or paving, apply measured taps to position elements without excessive force. For drywall and landscaping tasks, use light blows to adjust components while avoiding strong impacts that could compress or damage the rubber face.

Recommendations

Inspect the rubber face regularly for deep cuts, excessive wear or hardening. Replace the hammer face if the surface is damaged or has lost its elasticity. Store the hammer face away from direct sunlight and aggressive chemicals to prolong its service life.
